About Tom Pitcock

I came to Tallahassee in 1970 to attend Florida State University. After 37 years, this has become more than a town, it is the place I met my wife of 33 years, raised our children and became part of a very special community. I worked very successfully for 24 years with our state and federal governments and spent nearly 7 years as President of the Southern Scholarship Foundation. While working as District and Campaign Manager for Congressman Pete Peterson, I became intimately familiar with all of the small counties in the "Big Bend" section of the "Panhandle" of Florida. I have grown to know not only the people in the small communities, but also the rivers, lakes and rolling hills that make this region so special.
